Shannen Doherty (Prue Halliwell)
Shannen plays Prue, the beautiful and driven oldest sister, who has the power to move objects and also to astral project. Prue works in Bucklands, an auction house. She seems annoyed when her youngest sister Phoebe returns home to live in the family house, and she's very sceptical when Phoebe tells her that she believes the sisters are witches. Prue and Phoebe did not get on very well until they became witches and learnt they had to work as a team. Prue died the last episode of season three due to being thrown through a wall by a demon. Shannen is best known for her role as Brenda on Beverly Hills, 90210. She got her start on Little House on the Prairie, and she was a regular on Our House. Shannen's movies include Heathers, The Ticket, Nowhere, Sleeping with the Devil, Mallrats, and A Burning Passion: the Margaret Mitchell Story. Shannen was born April 12, 1971 in Memphis.
Holly Marie Combs (Piper Halliwell)
Holly plays Piper, the earthy and creative middle sister, who has the power to freeze time and now also has the power to speed up or slow down molecules causing things to blow up.. Piper serves as the mediator between her sisters, who see the world very differently from each other. Piper often seems a little skittish, especially when she realizes she might be a witch. She is always between boyfriends and has had a lot of bad luck with them. She has had a warlock as boyfriend, a white lighter and other magical beings. She has now met a normal person though. Although she is having to decide between two boyfriends. Dan, the guy that just moved in next door, a mortal and Leo a white lighter that looks over them. Piper owns her own club called Pł, which stands for the Power of Three. Holly is best know for her performance as Kimberly Brock on the emmy-winning Picket Fences. She also starred in the horror flick Dr. Giggles, as well as having roles in Born on the Fourth of July, Simple Men, and A Reason to Believe.
She has also appeared in several television movies including A Perfect Stranger, Sins of Silence, Love's Deadly Triangle, and Our Mother's Murder. Holly was born December 3, 1973 in San Diego.
Alyssa Milano (Phoebe Halliwell)
Alyssa plays Phoebe, the free-spirited youngest sister, who has the power to see the future and also her more recent one, to levitate. She rarely plans beyond the next day and seems to be irresponsible-- at least to Prue. She is fascinated by the possibility that the sisters are witches, and she is the one who discovers the "Book of Shadows," which foretells of the "Charmed Ones." She always seems to be getting herself in to trouble, but in her own way is still responsible in what she does. Alyssa played Samantha on Who's the Boss and appeared most recently on Melrose Place. Among her other roles were Goldrush: A Real Life Alaskan, Jimmy Zip, Hugo Pool, Fear, Poison Ivy II, and Embrace of the Vampire. Alyssa was born December 19, 1972 in Brooklyn.
Rose McGowan (Paige Matthews)
Rose plays Paige, the long lost half-sister to the Halliwell sisters. She is half witch-half Whitelighter giving her the abilities to orb, heal and move things from one place to another with her mind. She was a first very weary about the whole witch idea and hesitant and also didn't want to learn about it. She is now very cautious about everything, and was the one that suspected something wrong with Cole, but even after all this she is still able to have fun. Rose was born and grew up in Florence, Italy and moved to America when she was ten, until that time she didn't even know how to speak English. During her teenage years she was a rebel and spent a lot of her time on the streets and in rehabs. Despite this she is now a very talented actress having down a number of movies and now her first TV show. Rose was born September 5, 1975.
